A magnificent antique star shaped Georgian Cut Steel brooch. Entirely made by hand, with each section shaped and faceted with immense skill and attention to detail and then applied to the shaped backing. At the height of fashion in the mid 18th century, English Cut Steel was famous for it's beauty. This brooch makes a fabulous centrepiece (and talking point) to any outfit and is splendrously sparkly in a gorgeous antique greyed way. It measures 5cm across and is in all original condition.
